The Multipure Aquasource is a whole house system, providing powerful filtration at the point-of-entry, ensuring that every water outlet in the home delivers cleaner, more delicious, healthier water. That means kitchen sink, icemaker, shower, bath, bathroom sinks, even laundry and dishwasher.
The stainless steel housing ensures durability and differentiates it from all other whole house systems, which are generally plastic. The three parallel carbon block filters inside are superior to the granular charcoal filters in competitors’ products.
These systems are designed to reduce taste, odor, sediment and chlorine, and they will reduce other contaminants as well, although not to the same extent as the Multipure Drinking Water Systems. For that reason, many of our Aquasource customers also purchase a below sink drinking water system.
Your plumber would install Aquasource, generally in the garage or basement or utility closet wherever the water supply enters the house. An array of three substantial solid carbon block filters ensures that it reduces the presence of contaminants while maintaining the high water pressure needed to supply all the sinks, baths, and showers in your house. Homeowners can do all the maintenance. Aquasource is designed to produce 100,000 gallons before you need to change the filters (often 1-2 years, depending on usage and water quality).
