During the recent Earth Day Fair miracles happened.
Well, first there was the weather miracle. The weather forecast called for intermittent rain, and yes, there were some sprinkles to justify the weather forecasters. In between these minor events, there was sunshine and kids playing hoola-hoop in an area next to us.
We had to arrive early to make our booth presentable and display our various Multipure water filter systems to their best advantage. This is what our Multipure booth looked like:

Multipure recently launched their version of the next step in portable water bottles: the self-filtering bottle “Wriggle.” It’s a beautiful looking thing, not cheap but very useful especially for travelers, which we raffled off at no cost! Almost every one wanted it and signed the raffle ticket and in the end (my husband pulled the winning ticket) a lovely woman, who signed it reluctantly assuring me that she “never” wins anything. We told her “you never know what miracles happen” and she won!
Another miracle, well, a very nice happening, was that several of our established Multipure water filter customers came by to tell those standing around undecidedly how happy they are with their Multipure water filter systems. Some of these people have now had their home water filter systems for many years. Those testimonials were unsolicited advertising and we just smiled and nodded, proud to be offering such a valuable drinking water system.
Fairs are wonderful. Everyone is informal, happy, expectant, minds are open and food is plentiful and delicious. Many interested prospects came by; is seems EVERYONE is skeptical about the quality of their drinking water and these folks are looking for a solution. We concluded that we were at the right place at the right time.
